Sandy Poirier is a Distribution Designer at Synergy North, ‘responsible for electrical distribution design & Inspections for new subdivisions, design & planning of electrical maintenance & repair projects, Overhead & Underground utility design.

The Electrical Technician program completion is a requirement for my role as Distribution Designer. My experience / background has always been in Mechanical / Structural Engineering with little knowledge of the electrical engineering / distribution industry, and this is why Synergy North mandated this course as a probationary requirement. I'll apply knowledge of voltage drops & resistances while designing distribution systems.
